All designs are engineered to meet or exceed State, County and local building codes, including winds up to 130 MPH and seismic activity Category D.

The Monterey

An Insulated Patio Cover by Duralum®

The Monterey Insulated Patio Cover gives you the best of both worlds, Designed to not only give you that shade, but also gives you total insulation against the sun’s harmful heat rays, PLUS offers you complete overhead insulation from the snow, ice and other cold weather. Optional hidden internal Electrical Raceways are designed to support added ceiling fans or light fixtures. With our exclusive Panel Interlock Design, The Monterey Insulated Patio cover gives you the confidence of knowing your cover is secure and guarding against troublesome leaks unlike any other cover of its type.

The Monterey is available in either a 3”, 4 ¼” or 6” thickness, depending upon your geographical location. Specifically, the thickness required is based upon snow load, wind load and other engineering and customer requirements. Your Duralum dealer will explain to you what your local building codes require, and will insure that your installation meets or exceeds those requirements.

The walls themselves are insulated with 4 inches of expanded polystyrene, insuring the highest possible R-value protection.

You can choose from a standard mandoor, Full-light mandoors, designer half-moon doors, 5 ft. or 6 ft. Sliding Doors or a beautiful set of French-style doors.
